If laziness is the attitude of the contemporary revolutionary, a true martyr of resistance to the expropriation of time and spirit by the powerful and less powerful, recognizable by their mania to invent and dazzle, the dimension in which it can express itself can only be that of idleness, the only time that can truly be called ours, the space in which we can be what we want, far from the pressures of this dream-killing society in the name of the pragmatism of the salary with which to pay for gas, fines, and bills. It is therefore to idleness, to the wisdom of idleness, that we must turn to refine our techniques of resistance to a culture that has transformed "free time" into frantic entertainment, a distraction, serving the fundamental dimension of work and duty.
